How to Create an EloView Sub-Account

1. Login to your EloView account: https://secure.eloview.com/



2.  In the upper right corner, click on the dropdown arrow, then select “Account.”



3. In the Sub Accounts section, click on “Add Account.”



4. Fill in all relevant information then choose the Save & Next button to proceed.



5. Enter the number of licenses you wish to allocate to the sub-account and then choose the Save & Next button to proceed.


6. Verify all information is correct then choose the Finish button.



7. A message stating, “New sub-account created xxxx” will appear momentarily.



8. Congratulations! The new sub-account has been successfully created and is now ready for use.

PayPoint Plus for Windows Cash Drawer Setup and Testing Instructions, Below is information for installing OPOS and JPOS cash drawer test solutions for the PayPoint Plus Windows systems.

Hardware Requirements

•  PayPoint Plus for Windows

•  Printer Paper

Software Requirements

Star Printer (OPOS) Solution

•  tsp100_v740.zip – Star Micronics Configuration Utility TSP100 application

JPOS Solution

•  jdk-7u80-windows-x64.exe – Java Development Kit (JDK)

•  EloJPOS_v2.0-stable.zip – JPOS POS tester

Instructions for JPOS Solution

1.    Verify if the Star TSP100 printer application has been installed.

2.    If the Star printer application has not been installed, find a copy of the installer (tsp100_v740.zip) located at C:\EloTouchSolutions\Peripherals\Printer or download it from directly from the printer manufacture.

3.    Download jdk-7u80-windows-x64.exe and install

• Find a copy of the installer in the Files section of this article

4.    Download EloJPOS_v2.0-stable.zip and extract the file

• Find a copy of the application in the Files section of this article

5.    Install EloJPOS.msi, and an EloJPOS app shortcut will be created on the desktop

6.    Launch the EloJPOS app, and a console window will automatically open

7.    The EloJPOS app will appear like the image shown below

8.    Click Open Drawer

Troubleshooting:

If the console window shows an error ‘java’ is not recognized, it means that the JDK installer is not installed yet. Install the Java Development Kit 1.7 (JDK) and relaunch the EloJPOS app. If JDK has been successfully installed and ‘java’ is not recognized, the Java bin folder will need to be added to System Environment Variable.

Creating the Recovering Flash Drive

All Windows 10 touch computers come with the built-in Elo Restore Utility on the Windows Desktop. The utility is able to create a recovery flash drive
based on the operating system you purchased. Please create your recovery flash drive immediately. In the event the HDD/SSD recovery partition is
accidentally deleted or becomes inaccessible, you will need to use the recovery flash drive to recover your system.
The following procedures demonstrate how to use the utility to create a recovery flash drive.
1. Right-click the EloRestoreUtility icon on the Desktop and select “Run as administrator”.
2. Click “Start” button to begin the process.
3. Once completed, you shall see a pop-up window to ask to insert a blank flash drive to any of available USB ports on your system.
4. After the flash drive is inserted, you shall see a window as shown below. Click “Format Drive” to continue the process. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL

DATA WILL BE LOST DURING THIS PROCESS.

5. Click “Create Restore Media” to proceed. This step will take 10-20 minutes depending on your system configurations and flash drive
performance.
6. Once the message shows “Creation Restore Media success…”, please remove the flash drive and click “Exit” to exit the program.
7. In case the system is crashed and you have to use the recovery flash drive, reboot the system and press F11 several times to enter DeviceBoot
Menu. Then, choose “boot from flash drive”.
8. When the following UI is presented, click “Install Recovery Solution” button.

9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process and then exit the program.
Note: All data is deleted during the recovery process. The user must back up files when necessary. Elo Touch Solutions does not accept
liability for lost data or software.

Note: The end user must adhere to Microsoft’s Licensing Agreement.

Recovering the Operating System

If for any reason the touch computer’s operating system needs to be recovered to FACTORY SETTINGS, you can recover your system by following the
procedures below. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CUSTOMER SETTINGS AND DATA WILL BE LOST DURING THIS PROCESS. Please be sure to completely backup all
of your data, settings, and customer-installed software before proceeding.
1. Power off your system completely.
2. Power on your system.
3. When the following screen appears, tap to select “UEFI – Recover Operating System”.
4. The following User Interface (UI) will be presented.
5. Select Restore OS. The system will test your hardware automatically. Once the process completes, click Start button to perform the system
recovery function.
6. The following process will reformat the primary hard drive. Please back up your data before performing the recovery process.
7. Once completed, click the Close button. The system will return to the main menu of the Elo Recovery Solution. Then click the Exit button to restart
your system.

NOTE: All data is deleted during the recovery process. The user must back up files when necessary. Elo Touch Solutions does not
accept liability for lost data or software.
NOTE: The end user must adhere to Microsoft’s Licensing Agreement.

1. To activate Presentation Mode on the Elo 2D scanner do the following:
a. Use a ballpoint pen or other small device to press the manual scan button that is located on top of the scanner.

b. Press and hold the manual scan button while scanning the below barcode.

c. The 2D barcode scanner should now be in Presentation Mode

The user may also install Honeywell’s EZConfig software to configure the scanner. If the scanner appears to be unresponsive, then we recommend using EZConfig to setup the scanner. If the scanner is not recognized by EZConfig, then the issue is likely hardware related; in that case, we would recommend RMA. “
